Planning your journey to the sacred Amarnath Cave? Before you book your yatra, it’s mandatory to obtain a Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) from an authorized medical practitioner. The Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) has released the official state-wise list of approved doctors and medical institutions who are eligible to issue this certificate.
This certificate is a vital requirement for every pilgrim wishing to register for the Amarnath Yatra 2025, ensuring you are medically fit to undertake the high-altitude trek.
📌 Why is the CHC Required?
Due to the challenging terrain and high altitude of the Amarnath Yatra route, pilgrims are required to be in good health. The Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC), issued only by approved medical professionals, confirms your physical fitness and is mandatory for both online and offline registration.
